As the Keller brothers already kicked off yesterday, we here at
TV Squad feel it's our duty to inform you of reasons why you shouldn't be "celebrating" TV Turnoff
Week. Tonight marks the third-to-last episode of what's been a fantastic second season of Veronica Mars, a
series I'm very glad to have decided to pick up, and catch up on, late last season.Seriously folks, if you haven't already been watching this show, this may be your last chance this season to see an episode on its own without having any major plot points revealed. As with last season, the last two episodes will likely wrap all the mysteries up very nicely, and if you pick the show up then, you'd surely ruin the magic of seeing the season from an earlier episode. (Forget what Richard says later about Scrubs -- watch 'Mars!)

I devoured season 1 of VM on DVD. I've since hooked several other friends on this excellent show. Top notch. Of course we're all still waiting on the Season 2 DVDs (watching series TV is a pain in the butt).

Not to sound smug, but I get to have my cake and eat it, too. Even though I won't be home, I can record Scrubs and then Veronica Mars (our UPN station airs it on again on Sunday nights - I hope this continues after the CW changes, but I doubt it because the CW is going to the other affiliate...oh well, I get to enjoy the arrangement this season.

Ditto w/previous commenters; I picked up the season one DVD after getting disc one & two from Blockbuster online and finished it up in a day. Hands down, one of the best shows on television. Crossing fingers for a ratings upswing, w/the recent episodes ratings being dismal as they are with the move to Tuesdays. *sigh*
